Living with the Hawk

About the Book

Living with the Hawk explores the traumatic events in the life of Blair Russell, a high school football player who struggles to do what's right in tough circumstances. His brother Blake is the team's quarterback, and often takes care of and protects his younger brother from taunting and hazing by other players. But Blake begins running in different circles with friends who drink, party hard, bully the younger players, and abuse the girls they could attract. As the differences between Blake and Blair become more apparent, the discovery of a body in a field north of town sets loose devastating actions that sever their brotherly bond and divide the Russell family forever.
