About the Author

Bernadette Wagner is a writer, editor, and community based educator, has recent work in Absent Mothers, and Without Apology: Writings on Abortion in Canada. Her poetry and non-fiction have been broadcast on radio and tv, recorded on video and film, and published in magazines and anthologies. Bernadette has been shortlisted for the Saskatchewan First Book Award, has toured for "This hot place," published by Thistledown, in 2010. An activist for for social justice, a board member of the Saskatchewan Writers Guild and Sage Hill Experience, Bernadette lives in Regina, SK.
