About the Author
Mr. Favel is from the Poundmaker Cree Nation, where he currently resides. He is a writer, theatre director, journalist and Cree traditionalist. He is the curator of the Chief Poundmaker Museum ( winner in 2018 of the International Indigenous Tourism Award), and the director of the Poundmaker Indigenous Performance Festival.
