About the Book
Thelma: A Life in Pictures is the inspiring story of art photographer Thelma Pepper told through her beautiful black and white photographs, and those of her father and grandfather before her. At the age of 60, in the midst of mid-life depression, Thelma picked up a camera and started taking pictures of the people—particularly the senior women—and the landscapes that shaped life in rural Saskatchewan in the early days. Four major exhibitions later, the Saskatchewan Order of Merit and a Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award, at the age of 100, Thelma reflects on a century of life and love, following your passions and the power of creativity.
